Our regular product releases always introduce many long-awaited new features to our product suite. The first release of 2022 includes an integration of the popular SIM Cards module into Rollouts, Rollout tasks can now be completed in bulk and we added reports for the Rollout Targets. And there are many other features that will help you saving a lot of time and raise efficiency throughout the whole team!

ATTACH SIM CARDS TO ROLLOUTS

If you are using the Roamsys SIM Cards module, you can now attach SIM cards from there to individual rollouts. Multiple SIM cards can be attached to a rollout and vice versa a SIM card can be attached to multiple rollouts. Of course all rollouts a SIM card is attached to are also displayed in the SIM Cards module if you prefer to use our tool this way.

We are sure you will appreciate the time-savings as this gathers information previously available in different modules exactly at the spot where you need it. Enjoy the extra spare time saved by this!

To stay up-to date, you can define special SIM card email notifications in your Rollouts settings section. When activated, you will receive an email when all rollouts a SIM card is assigned to are completed.

To align the SIM Cards and the Rollouts module, Roaming hub and Alias TADIG code information has been added also to SIM Cards. Please note that the respective columns are disabled by default on the overviews and have to be enabled manually.

NEW WHOLESALE ROAMING MANAGER FEATURES

BULK PROCESS MULTIPLE TASKS

We already talked about efficiency and time-savings, and this feature is exactly about this: It is now possible to complete multiple tasks (or change them to different status) at once from the “My Tasks” and “All Tasks” overviews by just a few clicks. Let the system do the job, as all selected tasks will be processed automatically in the order they have in the respective rollouts. There’s no need to worry, all rollouts affected by bulk change are locked automatically for the duration of the bulk change.

REPORTS FOR ROLLOUT TARGETS

We know that our reporting features are extremely popular and now also the Rollout targets overview has been added to the Report distribution. With this long-awaited feature it’s now possible to create automated reports based on saved views that can be sent out via email or SFTP upload in fixed intervals.

NOTES VS. COMMENTS

A new “note” field has been added to rollouts. This rollout note is independent from the rollout comments and can always be displayed on the Rollouts overview without being replaced/overwritten by newer comments.

NEW DATE PARAMETER IN NETWORKS REPORTS

Your management will love the new “Date” parameter that has been added to the Settings for the Networks reports (Country coverage report, Service coverage report, Group country coverage report). This new parameter refers to the connection date and allows you do display only connections within a given timeframe (e.g. only connections with a date up to 2020-12-31, or only in 2019)

NEW NETWORK CONFIGURATION OPTIMIZER FEATURES

RoamsysNext Network Configuration Optimizer

AUTOMATED ASSIGNMENTS

The automated assignment of tasks/configurations can now be done on a round robin procedure. Round robin assignment means that each new task/configuration is assigned to a different user until everyone has been assigned the same amount and the cycle repeats.

CONFIGURATIONS

There are also some interesting new features for the IREG Toolbox Configurations. Now it’s possible to use data from partner test SIM cards (like IMSI, MSISDN and ICCID) from the SIM cards application in vendor-specific configuration templates.

Within the vendor-specific configuration templates variables from the CAMEL rerouting numbers subsection can now be used and the file format can now be changed from TXT to CSV. Also the configurations from the configuration archive can be downloaded in bulk.

The audit configuration type TADIG – Network nodes GT number range can now be used and an IP address range column in padded notation is available at various locations.
