3 Scandinavia (“Tre”) is a leading MNO in northern Europe. As part of the CKH Group with networks in 11 countries, it’s running fast and secure mobile networks in Sweden and Denmark. For many years the group is using RoamsysNext tools to align the strategy and increase transparency across all networks. Recently 3 Scandinavia has been awarded by research company ROCCO as one of the 5 most innovative MNOs for their E2E network configuration automation project (read the full story here).
The collaboration of Tre and RoamsysNext works as a pilot for all CKH group members to develop a tool that automates the end-to-end updates for network information. To manage the incoming data, Tre chose RoamsysNext NCO and WRM solutions to communicate directly with an internal system developed by Tre in-house. Beside the network configuration this also includes roaming partner management, service openings and steering targets both on a local level as well as in the communication towards CKH Group.

Managing hundreds of roaming partners with hundreds of IR.21 files and thousands of changes manually is resource-intensive, intransparent, expensive and error-prone, especially on a group level. The RoamsysNext tools improve this process being the perfect base for end-to-end network configuration.
